»Regenbogen« Day Nursery (Emsdetten / Germany)
The St. Lucia nursery school in the Catholic parish of St. Pankratius in Emsdetten offers a total of 65 places for three groups of children from 2 to 6 years old. The name "Regenbogen" ("rainbow") is very apt: the team from the Kresing architectural practice in Münster used bright colours and individual fixtures in their design of the premises, which are flooded with natural light. Ultra flat downlights from the Toledo Flat range were ideally suited for installation in the slightly suspended ceilings. The playful effect of the round Basic Balls in the group rooms ensures a cosy atmosphere, in which the youngsters immediately feel at ease.
