Deutschordensmuseum

The castle in Bad Mergentheim was given to the Teutonic Order in 1219. The former fortress has been continuously expanded over the centuries. Nowadays, it houses a modern museum covering about 3,000 m2 of floor space within its historic walls, exhibiting artefacts, pictures and texts bringing the history of the Teutonic Order to life. This journey into the past is illuminated by the latest lighting technology: LED strip lights illuminate the displays and show cases, whilst the reception area is lit by Pascala downlights.
