»Willibald-Gluck« High School (Neumarkt / Germany)

The largest high school in the Upper Palatinate region of Germany has a history spanning 130 years. With almost 1,600 pupils, it was time for a new school building. A partnership between the Neumarkt district and the architects Berschneider+Berschneider led to the development of a modern "school habitat" providing the high school with a positive learning environment. The lighting also plays a central role here in supporting the youngsters' well-being and ability to concentrate. The multi-storey lobby with lounge area is flooded with natural light and, when required, can be lit with the necessary light intensity thanks to the delicate retracting Ralite Highbay LED pendant luminaries.
