P & T - Paper & Tea
The brand P & T, established in 2012 by Jens de Gruyter in Berlin, is revolutionising the sophisticated tea culture. The new concept has little in common with conventional tea shops. Instead, the focus is on communication and dialogue, information and sensory experiences. And so for the second store in central Berlin, which was designed in partnership with architect and product designer Fabian von Ferrari, the result is a blend of an aesthetically purist store and a natural history museum. Customers can move freely around the store. If they wish, they can stop to smell or touch one of the products or have their favourite brew made especially for them at one of the tea bars. In order to conjure up a cosy feeling of well-being, the famous product designer chose the discreetly accentuating track spotlights from the Pura range.
