Record visitors for RZB at Light+Building 2018

The number of people visiting the RZB Group’s four exhibition stands increased by a phenomenal 13% compared with 2016. This meant that the luminaire manufacture based in Bamberg exceeded the overall growth rate for the light+building exhibition in Frankfurt am Main, which finished on 23 March.Over the course of the six-day event, which is easily the world’s largest lighting exhibition, around 220,000 professional visitors (216,000 in 2016) from 177 countries were able to discover innovations from a total of 2,714 exhibitors from 55 countries.

“Connected – Secure – Convenient” was the motto for this year’s exhibition. The RZB Group presented new products, innovations and visions for the future at a total of four stands this year. At its additional exhibition space in hall 3.0, diagonally opposite the main stand, RZB presented its extensive outdoor lighting range, including easy to install wall and ceiling luminaires, innovative bollard and recessed luminaires and spotlights, light stacks and pole luminaires. A professional barista with a cult red Piaggio Ape encouraged visitors to spend time here.

At its main stand in hall 3.0, RZB presented a variety of new luminaire ranges under the “soft” lighting of the TWINDOT range of office luminaires, as well as clever light management solutions with highlights such as smart+free and smart+IP. The glass lift was a real eye-catcher: giving RZB customers a unique opportunity to gain unrestricted access to the new lounge, offering an amazing view over the entire exhibition area.

At the emergency lighting stand in hall 4.1, the focus was on unique connections between general and emergency lighting. Here too, the highlight was control solutions such as the EASY+IP and MultiDigit+IP smart monitoring systems, which are perfectly equipped for the future. The portfolio of mobile workplace luminaires at the neighbouring SONLUX exhibition stand, a member of the RZB Group, rounded off the extensive range of lighting solutions in hall 4.1.

We would like to thank our customers and business partners for their interest in the exhibition and for the many inspiring discussions that took place there. We look forward to working with you as a partner on your projects and would be happy to provide advice, easy to install products and innovative lighting solutions!
