“RZB successes in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019”

RZB Rudolf Zimmermann, Bamberg GmbH has succeeded in joining the best innovators in the 26th edition of the TOP 100 innovation competition.

Out of thousands of entries in the Product Design category, four of the luminaire ranges made by RZB Rudolf Zimmermann, Bamberg GmbH won over the international jury of experts for the iF Design Award.

Out of more than 2,500 entries in the product design category, three of our luminaire ranges won over the 45-member international jury of experts of the German Design Award. In the “Excellent Product Design” segment, the new TWINDOT pendant luminaire range received an award for its outstanding design value, innovative lighting technology and exceptional light quality.

Ever since the very first edition, and for the sixth time now, we have been amongst the select members of the foundation to feature in the book "Die großen deutschen Marken" ("Major German Brands"). The title this year is: "Major German Brands 2019. 100 years Bauhaus."

The jury has reached a decision: Having spent several days assessing thousands of products from all over the world, the “Red Dot” award went to the PLANOX PRO range of moisture-proof luminaires.

RZB Rudolf Zimmermann Bamberg GmbH, with its Headquarters for Asia Pacific RZB Lighting Asia & Pacific Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are delighted to announce the new cooperation between RZB Lighting and 3S Lighting Pty Ltd in New South Wales Australia.

The number of people visiting the RZB Group’s four exhibition stands increased by a phenomenal 13% compared with 2016. This meant that the luminaire manufacture based in Bamberg exceeded the overall growth rate for the light+building exhibition in Frankfurt am Main, which finished on 23 March.Over the course of the six-day event, which is easily the world’s largest lighting exhibition, around 220,000 professional visitors (216,000 in 2016) from 177 countries were able to discover innovations from a total of 2,714 exhibitors from 55 countries.

Amongst the approximately 2500 entries in the area of product design, two of our product series wowed the 43 members of the international expert jury from the coveted German Design Award.
